Concept Design

Since 1997, Special Structures Lab has provided design services to many areas of industry, specifically the events industry and the construction sector. Working to all International and Euro Codes, we design both temporary and permanent structures in a wide range of materials including steel, concrete, timber, aluminium and composites. In some circumstances we provide the specialist services to other engineers who do not normally use structural membranes in projects. On other projects we provide a complete package for the client to design, prototype, provide manufacturing information such as steelwork design and fabric membrane connections and project manage through to initial installation.

Feasibility Studies

Feasibility studies usually include work that is required in most eventualities, therefore saves, rather than increases costs.
