Rudi Rings - Tent Stake Standard

In 1992 Rudi Enos proposed a standard for marking stake lengths in order that the length of the stake which was not in view, ie underground, could be established. Rudi's solution is simple, the length of the stake is known from the colour of the stripe at the top of the stake. It is also suggested that all stakes have a head or ring forged or welded to the top to prevent the tensioning element from slipping off the top.
